Rust Inhibitor is a water-based alkaline corrosion inhibitor designed to help protect ferrous metal parts and surfaces from rust during manufacturing, processing and temporary indoor storage.

Designed for industrial metalworking applications where iron and steel parts may be vulnerable to corrosion between processing steps, Astec Rust Inhibitor provides a completely water-soluble solution for temporary rust and corrosion protection.

Directions: Dilute Astec Rust Inhibitor with up to 50 parts water in a clean plastic container. Apply by spraying, dipping or brushing. Do not rinse. Allow treated parts to dry completely before storage. Repeat if necessary. The diluted solution may be heated up to 150°F to facilitate drying.

Important: Wear appropriate protective gloves, protective clothing and eye/face protection. Avoid contact with acids and strong oxidizers. Read the product label and Safety Data Sheet before use.
